ENGINEERING HAWAIʻI’S FUTURE

I am so honored to serve the people of Hawai’i. Together, we have accomplished a lot and yet there is more work to do to secure a bright future and make Hawai’i a leader and exemplary example for our country.

We are charting a new course in open and accountable government, health care, education, employment, protecting and conserving our environment and natural resources, and creating a sustainable future to meet our needs. We have made strides on energy conservation, expanding innovation and our global reach to ensure future economic stability. We are repairing our infrastucture and advancing measures to increase affordable housing and reduce homelessness which allow individuals and families to transition to stable, permanent housing.

And, in today’s challenging times, we also have a moral responsibility to stand up against hate in all of its forms, and take on a President who does not understand ‘Aloha’ or share our values and priorities.

Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, I am fully committed to all of our residents. From our aging kupuna who deserve respect and dignity, to young individuals and families just starting out, to our precious keiki who represent our future, my life and service is dedicated to all of you.

I extend a heartfelt thank you for your continued support. Together, we are changing the direction of our state and our country, protecting our way of life and treasured places, and moving Hawaiʻi forward to a place where our children and grandchildren can truly call home.

Me ka ha‘aha‘a, Mahalo nui loa,

David Y. Ige
