Topics to be Heard:
This informational briefing will outline current capabilities and development initiatives in the area of portable (mobile) emergency room hospital systems. Specific information on the following will be addressed:
- Experiences with helping patients on board portable emergency room hospital systems when responding to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina;
- How portable emergency room hospital systems can best prepare Hawaii for a natural or man-made disaster, pandemic or avian flu outbreak, or other catastrophic event.
The guest speaker will be:
