- Current capabilities and development initiatives in the area of portable (mobile) hospital systems, supply and equipment caches, isolation room upgrades and response teams.
- Recent experiences with Kiholo Bay earthquake, the subsequent island-wide blackout on Oahu, tsunami events, and related major exercises and drills.
- Gaps in capabilities including staff and hospital bed shortages, federal funding and planned developments for the immediate future.
