2006 University of Hawaii Regent Scholars

"Awarded for academic excellence, these full scholarships support top Hawaii students as part of UH's commitment and service to the state.

The university awards Regents Scholarships to 20 outstanding first-year students who score at least 1,300 for combined mathematics and verbal scores on the Scholastic Assessment Test and maintain at least a 3.6 grade-point average in academic subjects in high school and whose extracurricular achievements are shown to be remarkable.
Regent Scholars receive a full tuition waiver for four years fo undergraduate study. All scholars also receive $4,000 a year and a one time travel grant of $20,000."
